Founded by Laura-Marie Nixey in 2016, the 1834 Collection takes inspiration from her family history spanning England, Ireland and Scotland, "I have always been proud of the rich cultural tapestry of the British Isles. I designed the 1834 Collection in honour of the Celtic sporran and my family's heritage".
Created by artisan leather-makers near the Highlands, the collection takes local crafting traditions dating back to 1834 and reinterprets this for a modern lifestyle. Staying true to the original design essence each 1834 can be worn as a beltbag, as well as a cross-body bag and shoulder bag.
