The Nalanda Junior Old Boys’ Association (NJOBA) was formed in 1975, 50 years after the school was established. It was formed with the Objective of harvesting the youthful energy of young Alumni for the development of the school. The first president of the Association was Mr. Susantha Abeysekara and the starting membership consisted of 25 members. Since then the NJOBA has seen the tenures of 24 presidents and a flourishing 40 years in the Service of Nalanda College.
