Nkarhi Timepiece

Nkarhi timepieces are inspired by Africa and designed for the world. We aim to infuse African flair and designs to a watch industry. We are a Johannesburg based firm, all our timepieces are named after African cities; this is according to how locals affectionately know them. The features of the watches are directly extracted from the cities’ characteristics, celebrating quality, simplicity and African natural designs. Nkarhi is a word from a South African indigenous language, Xitsonga, meaning time. The name was carefully chosen to celebrate the originality of our African luxury timepieces, and with that it emphasises that it is Africa’s time to shine. Our ultimate dream is to manufacture most components on the mineral-rich continent of AFRICA. Our timepieces are a gift to the heart, and when you can touch the heart, that is limitless.
