Nkulo Community Partnership Trust

Nkulo Community Partnership Trust (Nkulo Trust), founded in 2021, is a non-profit organisation (NPO) and public benefit organisation (PBO) dedicated to fostering socio-economic development in Thungela’s mine host communities and the labour-sending areas. Our purpose is simple: to grow all that we touch. The name Nkulo means “growth of the people,” and our dream is to plant the seeds of change in communities because small seeds become large, life-changing projects. We will achieve our purpose by implementing initiatives in education and skills development, health, welfare and social orientation, and growth in alternative economies. Governed by a dedicated board of trustees, we collaborate and uplift benefiting communities, building one brick at a time to create impact and long-term change.
