Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Moldova

The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Chisinau promotes strong bilateral ties between the Republic of Moldova and the Kingdom of the Netherlands and works actively to increase cooperation on the rule of law, human rights and security. We are one team of highly motivated, creative and result-oriented professionals. Together we build an inclusive workplace, which has diversity at its core. We strive to build meaningful connections with relevant organizations and individuals and bring together actors that help us achieve our objectives. We contribute to good governance and human rights as we support government and civil society organizations. We focus on justice sector reform, democratic elections and citizen participation and oversight. Press freedom and access to information, human right defenders, LGBTI and ethnic minorities are our priorities. We analyze and report on the political and security situation, including in the region of Transnistria and work together with our bilateral and multilateral partners towards preventing and resolving conflict. We support the implementation of the Association Agreement and the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement. We help the Republic of Moldova to seize economic opportunities, growing bilateral trade and investment and improving the business climate. We stand ready to serve the interests of Dutch citizens and companies in the Republic of Moldova.
