NMC ProVita is the UAE’s provider of post-acute care and rehabilitation services. Covering patients of all ages, it provides Long Term Care, Post-acute Rehabilitation, Outpatient Rehabilitation, Home Hemodialysis & Home Health Services.
Established in 2011 in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi - NMC ProVita focuses on providing comprehensive medical, rehabilitative, and therapeutic services to patients who require long-term care, including those with chronic illnesses, disabilities, or those recovering from surgery or severe injuries. The company operates various facilities such as specialized hospitals, medical centers, and home healthcare services. NMC ProVita aims to deliver personalized care, tailored to the specific needs of each patient. They have a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and support staff, who work collaboratively to ensure the well-being and recovery of their patients. NMC ProVita then expanded into admitting and treating post-acute rehabilitation (PAR) patients. A programme that was set up to treat in-patients who needed intense therapy over a period of a few months before being discharged home. In 2015 NMC ProVita opened its first ‘hospital in hospital’ long term care & rehabilitation unit within NMC Royal Hospital, Abu Dhabi. In addition to the NMC ProVita services it also has the added advantage of acute hospital services such as ICU and radiology that can be offered to NMC ProVita patients.
