No More Pretending is a non-profit think tank and alcohol recovery advocacy group led by people with living and lived experience of alcohol issues representing the voices of Punjabi communities.
We aim to connect Punjabi communities with recovery and positively reshape attitudes towards alcoholism. Through empathy and compassion, we aspire to create lasting positive change for all those who have living or lived experiences of alcoholism as well as those who have been impacted through alcoholism in their families or communities. We strive to create a future where;
Communities, families, and individuals embrace and empathise with those that are directly impacted or suffer from alcoholism as well as family and community members.
Communities, families, and individuals can access services catering to their unique cultural context and situation.
Communities achieve parity with other demographics within existing recovery support services and infrastructure.
Together we can tackle alcoholism and create a future where no group or individual falls through the net in their journey toward healing.
