Noblekinnections provides Peer Mentorship, Co-design and collaborative advice from Lived Experience of Neurodivergence and trauma recovery as a consumer, as a parent, as a carer and from experience as a health professional. Our mission is to contribute the perspective from a late diagnosed Autistic with ADHD and co-occurring chronic mental and physical health challenges, from a parent to three creative neurodivergent offspring, and from multi-generational trauma from a family of origin due to mis-diagnoses, medical gaslighting and intervention. Our strengths lie in holding space for others to talk through life’s struggles. We aim to support you, whatever stage you are at, to identify priorities, set goals and search for better understandings of the complexity of lived experience of trauma, from a biopsychosocial perspective. We work to empower you, as the expert in your own experience. Whatever you face, Noblekinnections provides Peer Mentorship to collaborate, and problem solve alongside you, step by step, or toe by toe, at your own pace. Whether for parenting neurodivergence, trauma recovery, understanding the Neurodiversity Paradigm, shedding internalised ableism, navigating systems of education & allied health, health & mental health and aged care, goal setting for lifestyle, health and wellness, managing chronic illness or planning and pacing. We aim to empower you to re-write the narratives that serve you, to thrive, not just survive. Noblekinnections offers Co-design and collaborative lived experience and consumer knowledge to staff and providers in: Education, Health & Mental Health, Allied Health & Aged Care. We're determined to contribute an understanding of the neurodiversity paradigm and to raise awareness of neurodivergence and associated trauma experienced when environments and systems follow pathologizing and behaviorist approaches, to help shift these industries to embrace a neuroaffirming mindset that is trauma informed and inclusive.
