Nodo Innovación Cuyo - INTA Overview

The 𝗡𝗼𝗱𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝘂𝘆𝗼 (NiC) is a technical-organizational platform specialized in microbiotechnology applied to the agro-industrial system, capable of transforming ideas into technologies and developing technologies into businesses. Its work is focused on leading the advancement of the application of microbiotechnology in agriculture, through the contributions of science, technology and sustainability for the benefit of present and future generations. The NiC promotes the digital transformation of the local agro-industry, as it offers innovative tools and solutions to improve the efficiency, sustainability and profitability of the sector, promoting process automation, software development and robotics applied to the agrobioindustrial system. In the local ecosystem, the NiC seeks solutions for mitigating and adapting to climate change and adding value to the main agri-food chains in the region, including wine, fruit, vegetables and olives. The projects are leveraged by the image and positioning of INTA and comprehensive support for the maturation of technology and business in the same process and in a single area. The NiC provides support for access to financing, based on the validation of technological projects and business plans to apply for external financing (accelerators, venture capital, crowdfunding, state competitive funds, among others); in addition to having infrastructure and laboratory equipment and pilot plants for the development of technologies and businesses. The condition for adequately addressing the stated territory is the network organization of the NiC. This framework will be composed of a business office and five technical offices distributed between the provinces of Mendoza and San Juan.
