Noir Design Parti was created as a response to a lack of awareness of African-American architects' impact in shaping the landscape of Detroit and surrounding areas. The Knight Arts Challenge winning project tells the stories and documents the professional journeys and creative works of Black Architects in Michigan through tours, exhibits, presentations, videos, photographs, and maps.
