Noiseless Imaging Oy (Ltd) specializes in noise-removal and restoration/enhancement technology for the imaging industry. The technology trend in the imaging industry is towards denser sensing arrays with a higher pixel-density and lower signal-to-noise ratio (i.e. higher noise). This makes the utilization of effective noise-removal solutions more and more important for maintaining the leading edge in the competitive field of digital imaging. Noiseless Imaging is tracking this trend and our typical customers are companies that develop and produce hardware, deliver imaging services to their customers, develop and use advanced image processing in their activities: - IT companies - HDTV manufacturers - Camera manufactures - Cameraphone manufacturers - IP core manufacturers - Manufacturers of high-end imaging systems, e.g., for microscopy, medical imaging, night vision, etc. We provide software modules for: - noise profiling identification of noise characteristics, targeted at the optimization of subsequent digital processing stages; benchmarking of sensor hardware - image/video denoising accurate suppression of noise while preserving the finest details; optimized for various noise types and sources. - image/video enhancement enhancing the quality of images and videos in terms of contrast, sharpness; reduction of temporal flicker - spatial and spatiotemporal resolution enhancement (rescaling/zooming/temporal upscaling) provide sharp high-resolution image/video output from noisy low-resolution input - post-filtering of decompressed images and video removal of blocking and ringing and other coding artifacts due to compression or loss of data during transmission The main purpose of our software products is the improvement of image quality (sharpness, contrast, accurate detail and colour reproduction) so to obtain the best output from the customer's hardware.
