Nomaan Design Studio

Nomaan Studio is an architecture and construction management practice based in Tehran, founded in 2016. Over the past decade, we have designed and built over 20 projects, ranging from single-family houses and residential complexes to cultural and commercial buildings, as well as urban landscape design. Our work focuses on the interplay between architecture, sociopolitical dynamics, and ecologies, shaping spaces that are both responsive and impactful. We take a context-driven approach, carefully considering the relationship between everyday life and cultural, environmental, technical, and economic systems. Through this lens, we explore architecture’s role as a mediator for social cohesion and democracy, particularly within geopolitically complex environments.
