Enhance Naval warfighting capabilities by understanding the maritime environment and applying knowledge to operational and tactical decision making, and act as the immediate superior in command for assigned Echelon V commands (Naval Oceanography Special Warfare Center and Naval Oceanography Mine Warfare Center) providing direct support to the Fleet.
