Jeremy Noonan is a textile designer, visual artist, and educator whose work explores the intersection between digital technologies and traditional craft techniques. His creative work straddles the line between art and design and is rooted in a deep understanding of the potential of textiles as a medium for communication and expression.
As an award-winning textile designer, Noonan has collaborated with leading national and international companies in the industry, creating designs for a diverse range of products, including commercial upholstery, architectural glass, area rugs, wallcoverings, and home fashion. In addition to his commercial work, Noonan maintains an art practice, which allows him to push the boundaries of his medium and explore new creative directions.
He currently serves as a Professor and Section Lead of Fiber and Textiles in the Department of Studio Art and Craft at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI, where he shares his passion and expertise with the next generation of artists and designers.
