Nor- Cal FDC’s mission is to drive the local economy by supporting small business owners and entrepreneurs through access to capital. Their lending, banking, and technology partners provide greater access to a variety of sources of capital to small business owners in Northern California, Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay area. In 2014-15, Nor-Cal FDC was recognized by the U.S Treasury as a leader of providing capital access to businesses in Low-to-Moderate income communities. Per the State of California annual production reports, Nor-Cal FDC had accounted for over 40% for the entire state of guarantees to minority borrowers and over 30% to women owned businesses.
