NORAM Electrolysis Systems Inc. (NESI) is an engineering and process technology company that provides engineering solutions and products for a sustainable future. NESI is part of the NORAM Group of Companies, under NORAM Engineering and Constructors. NESI's core technologies and product offerings are for electrochemical production of lithium hydroxide from various lithium brine feeds and for electrochemical treatment of sodium effluent streams to recover the caustic and acid value. NESI is the supplier of a proprietary cell platform, the NORSCAND(R) cell. The NORSCAND(R) cell is used primarily for salt splitting processes for lithium chloride, lithium sulphate, and lithium carbonate conversion to lithium hydroxide and for salt splitting of sodium sulphate to regenerate sodium hydroxde and sulphuric acid.
