About Northwest Regional Crime Analyst Network (NORCAN)
NORCAN is a dynamic and growing network of law enforcement crime analysts, intelligence analysts, private sector analysts, commissioned officers, academics, and others simply interested in crime analysis. We originated in 2000 out of a multi-agency recognition of the need for a formal, professional resource to crime analysts in the Northwest United States and have since grown into a multi-state, multi-national network. NORCAN serves analysts in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming. We offer resources such as quarterly and bi-annual training events, a bi-annual training conference, webinars, an analyst resource center, and information about job opportunities within the region offered by government agencies. We also offer an affiliate membership with the International Association of Crime Analysts. For more information on membership benefits and requirements, please visit our website.
