From beginnings in the battery rental market in 1991, Norco Group are now a major force in the electrical energy storage industry.
As well as staying true to their roots in the traction battery service and rental market, Norco now design, manufacture and install their own single and three-phase AC and DC industrial UPS, Central Battery Systems and Battery Monitors.
They also specialise in the repair and maintenance of third-party UPS equipment.
Traction Battery:
In support of the retail and logistics industries, Norco's Battery Change Operatives are spread over the entire country maintaining electric vehicle batteries. Depleted batteries are quickly replaced with charged cells so electric forklifts, pallet trucks and tugs can be put straight back into service while the flat battery is maintained and recharged.
Norco also offer a Battery Rental service so clients can endure busy periods at reduced cost.
Standby Service:
A team of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and Battery engineers are kept on permanent standby to react to any emergency calls for assistance, and can be scrambled onshore, offshore or overseas at a moments' notice.
As well as emergency response, the Standby department can offer fully project-managed UPS and battery preventative maintenance.
Research & Development:
Norco's UK-based R&D team build their own product completely in-house. Printed circuit boards, firmware and operator interfaces are all Norco's intellectual property. This expedites communication between the design and production teams, minimises turn-around time and guarantees the ability to support, service and repair the equipment.
