Nordic Hydrogen develop a novel and disruptive method to produce green hydrogen by rethinking alkaline electrolysis.
Our objective is to reduce carbon emissions and make it possible to produce green hydrogen locally at land based energy fields or offshore energy islands.
Make your excess energy profitable
The business concept is to make even small amounts of excess green energy into profit by turning it into high value hydrogen. With our units you can exploit the excess production from i.e. 3-6 land based wind turbines, a solar field and similar. So instead of getting zero money for your excess energy you get hydrogen, ready to be stored, used locally or sold at the hydrogen market.
Onsite production
Our design allows for placing our electrolyzer onsite, near the source of sustainable electricity to escape transportation of electricity. Hence, hydrogen can be generated with net zero emissions, with a lower Levelized Cost, on less space with less scarce resources and less materials.
Various use
The hydrogen can be employed for various purposes, each reducing the global CO2 emissions:
(1) as a chemical for the industrial sector, for instance, as feedstock for fertilizers,
(2) as fuel for the heavy transportation sector, and
(3) as energy storage for electricity grid stabilization.
Ready in 2026
Our first HydroGreen x150 are ready in 2026, specifically for small land based electrolysis production with our unique and innovative vertical design, new gas handling system, new liquid system – and onsite installations for the future needs of the energy landscape offshore and onshore. Several elements are patent pending.
