Nordic Perspectives

Nordic Perspectives has a focus on the interaction between people, culture and nature. Not least through our collaboration with partners in the Nordic countries and indigenous cultures in the Arctic region, we consider different approaches to transformation and sustainable development into our practices. "Sustainable development requires a fundamental transformation of society. The key to this transformation is education for sustainable development. An education where knowledge is not limited to facts, but where it becomes emotional understanding and systems thinking that result in sustainable actions." (E. Ritter) Nordic Perspectives puts education for sustainable development (ESD) into praxis. The institute supports municipalities, organisations and companies in strengthening their skills in the field of sustainability.
