The Norfolk Churches Trust was founded in 1976 to protect churches, chapels and meeting houses of all Christian denominations in the county of Norfolk and Diocese of Norwich by offering support through advice and grants.
As a charity, the Trust is entirely dependant on the generosity of our many Friends and donors who do so much to support our work. Every donation goes directly towards grants for urgent church repairs.
Grants of over £6.7 million have been awarded since the Trust was founded have helped parishes fund urgent repairs to their churches so they remain open for worship and the focal point of their communities for future generations. Grants of around £150,000 are awarded each year.
Our strength is the close ties we have with parishes so whenever help is needed they know they can turn to the Trust for guidance and encouragement.
