Norris Bedding was established in 1947, when brothers Reg and John Norris started making
mattresses from their premises in Coldharbour Lane, South London –
still our showroom to this day.
You could say bed making is in our blood and John’s son, Anthony Norris now heads up the
family business, splitting his time between London and our manufacturing unit in Belvedere.
It’s here in Kent that we custom make every one of our mattresses and divans by hand, with
care and using only the finest natural materials, sourced in the UK.
We are flexible and highly skilled at what we do. For example, we can custom-shape a
mattress to fit the curved foot of your antique French bed or to slot neatly into the frame
of your four-poster.
Of course, that is the only time you will find us cutting corners. At Norris, quality
is paramount and nothing leaves our premises until it’s perfect.
