North Leinster Money Advice and Budgeting Service CLG

The Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS) is a national, free, confidential and independent service, providing advice and support to people in debt or in danger of getting into debt. Each MABS company is rooted within the communities they serve and staff work with clients to enable them to cope with immediate debt problems and assist them to develop good money management skills. North Leinster Money Advice and Budgeting Service CLG operates across Counties Kildare, Longford, Louth, Meath & Westmeath. The company has 8 offices spread across these counties and also operates numerous outreach clinics. A considerable number of the Money Advisers employed by the company have been authorised as Approved Intermediaries by the Insolvency Service of Ireland for the processing of Debt Relief Notices (DRN) for eligible individuals. We also provide a Court Mentoring service for the County Registrar's Civil List Possession Order Hearings in the courts in these five counties. We deliver Community Education workshops to groups on budgeting, money management and other such skills.
