About NORTH AMERICAN ROBOTICS
NORTH AMERICAN ROBOTICS (NAR) is a full-service sUAS engineering start-up founded by professional scientists, engineers, and business developers. Each member of NAR brings over 25 years of engineering, software development and technology science to the table, solving pragmatic real-world problems with innovative sUAS [drone]-based solutions. Because NAR mostly operates in the ever-changing weather characteristic of the Midwest, NAR has a fleet of over 150 unmanned aircraft including rugged-ized, industrial copters and large long-duration winged aircraft. That's 4-6 each of over a dozen different specialty air frames. One size does not fit at. Not really ever. Well, maybe in San Diego, but not in Minneapolis. Aircraft that lope for hours in the still air of dawn, don't fare well in the 30-55 mph gusts in the warm afternoons and we have to be prepared accordingly. We operate multi-rotors, large wingspan gliders, and high speed military-style aircraft when conditions call for it. The fleet has a purpose, and we can meet yours. We do design and tailor complete systems for customers, but focus more on providing comprehensive services. We offer a range of sUASs for scientists including our WEATHERDrones for 2017. the WEATHERDrones are specially prepared for hostile meteorologic environments and deploy instruments and sensors into severe weather as well as calm. We have systems to monitor meteorologic variables, and to track gaseous atmospheric emissions. Other offerings are available including our Remote Flight Academy - where we train remote pilots to really learn to fly and operate the complex systems behind unmanned aircraft. This is not a weekend-long vendor substitute for real flight training. Ours is comprehensive and covers safety and applications. NAR has the strongest FAA flight safety record in this new industry, with over 5,000 incident-free operating hours. NAR has affiliates on 3 continents and operating in 6 countries world-wide.
