Northeastern Television (NUTV)

Northeastern Television (NUTV) is Northeastern University’s only student-run video production club. Consisting of three departments (Entertainment, Sports, and News), we strive to entertain and inform the campus community. From writing to filming to acting to editing, we do it all. NUTV provides members with a hands-on learning approach to filmmaking, news broadcasting, and video content production. With state-of-the-art equipment, including Sony FX6 and A7Siii cameras and Adobe Creative Cloud software, members are given the opportunity to acquire industry skills in production environments and build portfolios of their work. NUTV has helped members develop the skills for various industry co-ops and jobs, including positions at Ralph, Wayfair, TJX, NBC Universal, Massachusetts Film Office, and AMC Networks. Members have also worked at broadcast and print news organizations such as The Boston Globe, 7 News, GBH, and WBZ (CBS Boston).
