Northern Rocks is a locally owned company focused on developing the climbing community in New Zealand. Northern Rocks is a world-class bouldering facility, the first of its kind in Auckland and North Island. Join New Zealand's newest growing recreation! Your climbing experience is at the heart of what we do. We provide trained and competent professionals that are psyched on climbing and passionate about supporting others. Each climbing area is specifically designed to accommodate varying levels of experience and ability. For the beginner climber, we will introduce you to bouldering with easy holds and simple movement. You can progress easily through challenges at your own pace, on walls that vary in angle with holds of all shapes and sizes. For the experienced climber, jump straight in and try the colour graded boulder problems, training walls and campus boards. We value all people of all backgrounds so come and say hello to our friendly staff and we’ll get you started on your climbing journey!
