Northern UNI

Northern UNI is an education initiative by the MAGICK Group in collaboration with SLIIT, which is the largest non-state degree awarding institute in Sri Lanka. This partnership brings best-in-class IT and business programmes to Jaffna. Students of these programs: 1) Get access to 4-year UGC-approved SLIIT courses in Jaffna 2) 25% fee discount 3) Zero stay and travel costs for students of Jaffna. Lower costs of living, compared to Colombo, for other students. 4) Full support for internships and job placements Northern Uni provides not just industry-relevant programmes and pathways – but a skill development framework and language/cross-cultural/work etiquette training for better employability. It will leverage its strong industry connections and its own group company MagickTech, to provide students with opportunities for industry interactions, internships, and employment. The MAGICK Group, in collaboration with SLIIT, is committed to its vision of supporting the overall socio-economic development of the northern region of Sri Lanka by improving the education and employment opportunities and promoting the region as a destination for IT technology services and product development.
