NorthStarr Preservation is dedicated to providing preservation and repair services for historic and modern cemeteries, gravesites, and monuments. Some of the leading causes of damage to grave markers and historic monuments are pressure washing, sandblasting, and bleach+water solutions. Our goal is to preserve in the best possible way the memorials to loved ones and honor their memories with a beautifully maintained resting place. We accomplish this by only employing techniques and materials that have been used at historical sites such as Arlington National Cemetery, the Roman Colosseum, and USA National Monuments. All services provided are completed by hand, utilizing no power tools, bleach, or acids, while following the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Historic Preservation and the American Institute of Conservators Code of Ethics. Services offered include the following: hand cleaning; fractured and toppled grave marker repair; probing, retrieval, releveling, and resetting; burial plot cleaning for funerary ceremonies; lawn maintenance; overgrowth removal; grading and reseeding; and perpetual care.
