Northwest Anesthesia Physicians has been providing anesthesia and patient care at Sacred Heart Hospital since 1949. With more than 50 physicians, we are now the largest anesthesiology group in Lane County and serve multiple locations in the Eugene/Springfield Metro area.
We pride ourselves in being involved in every phase of your peri-operative experience, from your pre-operative evaluation to post-operative follow up and acute pain management. We provide anesthesia care at the highest standards, with our care tailored to individual needs and preferences, to ensure patient safety and comfort.
An anesthesiologist is a medical doctor who has completed four years of post-graduate residency training. All of our physicians are board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Many physicians in our group have completed multiple residencies and/or additional fellowship training in specialty areas such as pediatric, obstetric, or cardiac anesthesia or echocardiography or critical care medicine.
Northwest Anesthesia Physicians is a member of the National Anesthesia Quality Institute (NAQI). Our membership in NAQI enables tracking of our clinical outcomes and comparison to other practices at the national level, thus enabling improvement of patient outcomes.
