We invest in high-quality assets and are engaged in five core business segments: consumer discretionary, consumer staples, financial services, information technology, & real estate. We generally avoid start-ups, resource extraction, disruptive technologies or turnarounds. Northwind deploys capital with a long-term investment horizon with the goal of the creation of sustainable value while taking an independent view of the market environment. Although we emphasize cash flow, we make strategic investments for the long-term prosperity of our assets. The objectives of the company are capital preservation, above average returns, and low correlations to the markets
