Nour Zikra

Nour Zikra is a fantasy author who also happens to be plotting world domination. After spending the first eleven years of her life in Aleppo, Syria, her birth city, Nour moved to the States in 2004 only to get bitten by a rare writing bug. Lucky for her, this bug was not deadly, though it did give her a superhuman passion for books. Fast forward a decade later, Nour graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in creative writing from the University of Central Florida. She currently resides in Orlando, FL, and has a green baby (aka a turtle) named Skyler. Alongside writing, reading, blogging, and running for President of the Universe, Nour crafts writing-related videos for her YouTube channel to better help her fellow writers reach their full potential. And when the stars align and Nour isn’t buried under a pile of books, she loves learning how to give the darn-best massages; binge-watching shows like The 100, Stranger Things, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Friends; and eating Shawarma (and literally anything in sight).
