Any mental health therapist will say that the real work of therapy is what the client does in between sessions. But the reality is that therapists spend hours a week trying to find and curate homework for their clients to do out of session, yet 50% of their clients don’t complete it (Tang & Kreindler, 2017). And this is actually one of the most cited reasons for therapy failure (Tang & Kreindler, 2017). Therapists want to give their clients tailored out-of-session care, but they spend so much time in the customization process and they lack the tools to actually get clients engaged. We figured out the perfect yet difficult balance of offering engaging and customized care with little to no effort. Noveltor uniquely enables therapists to customize their own digital app experiences for their clients to complete outside of session. For therapists, our use of pre-made templates and customizable options give them a space to create something that fits their clients needs in a matter of minutes. And for clients, our accessible, engaging, and curated app experiences gives them something that never feels like homework. Our mission is to bring customized care to the therapy space to increase client engagement while decreasing the therapist administrative burden that comes along with that. We are currently beta testing this with 8 therapists that have paid to use our software. We are looking for any other therapist that is interested in wanting to be a part of our mission.
