NovoCapsule is the leading designer & manufacturer of private label aluminum Nespresso-compatible capsules. At Novocapsule, we are passionate about packaging and precision. A serial inventor & industrial entrepreneur teamed up in 2016 to create an aluminum espresso capsule with superior sealing properties. The capsule is deceivingly a very simple product. But the devil is in the details, & our journey took us more than three years through endless laboratory tests, the formalities of patent applications & freedom-to-operate (FTO) due diligence, live trials with roasters, & more. NovoCapsule brought in HLM which is a renowned Swiss manufacturer since 1978 to partner on manufacturing tools for deep-drawing aluminum capsules. So within a year we had our first production line up & running. Novocapsule recruited a CEO & team with more than 70 years of experience collectively to manage the venture. The company now has four lines of coffee capsules that are produced at a billion per year and sold on five continents. Novocapsule is a precision-made Swiss instrument, optimized for sealing properties, OTR, stability in transportation, visual aesthetics, and other properties valued by the coffee roasters.
