Novomet Canada offers electrical submersible pump (ESP) technologies that reduce the cost of fluid production and extend the economic life of oil wells. Novomet ESPs consume 20-30% less electricity than conventional ESP systems. Slimhole designs (3.23-in. outside diameters) increase drawdown by enabling the ESP to be placed deeper in wells with small casing sizes, and reduce the likelihood of getting stuck while running in hole. Novomet ESP systems feature slimmer outside diameters than competing products, making them easier to install and less likely to get stuck. They are designed to handle harsh well conditions, high gas-to-oil ratios, high temperatures, abrasive and corrosive fluids, heavy oil, wells with a minimum drift of 3.3 in., and highly deviated wellbores. We offer full systems, or components including pumps, motors (induction and permanent magnet), protectors, variable speed drives, and sensors.
