About Nurse Policy Entrepreneur Café
The Nurse Policy Entrepreneur Café (NPEC) seeks to be the go-to compendium and location for all nurses interested in becoming effective policy entrepreneurs by learning from one another through professional dialogue. We envision that nurses at all levels will be inspired to become thought leaders and full partners with other disciplines to reform and improve the quality of healthcare policies at the local, state, national, and global levels. We support a diversity of all nurses, regardless of education, experience, or practice setting, to express their desire to advocate for others through policy-making and implementation. The NPEC is not about societal issues, but about creating a safe and productive environment to prepare nurses to address them. Because we are neither funded nor affiliated with any organization, we are free to build this supportive structure as an emerging, pertinent, and relevant mechanism to support the necessary growth of nurses' knowledge, skills, abilities, and confidence to be change agents for healthcare reform. We look forward to seeing you in the Café! 📆 Meets online monthly @ 12pm Eastern, every 2nd Saturday of the month Check out our resources and join the community! ➡️ Register for the next meeting: https://shorturl.at/vx0Oi ➡️ Contact the NPEC: nursepolicycafe@gmail.com ➡️ Newsletter: https://npecafe.substack.com/ ➡️ Global Cafés Networking Map: https://padlet.com/npecafe/global ➡️ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@NursePolicyCafe
