About National Police Foundation

The National Police Foundation, established in March 1975 under the Charitable Endowments Act 1890, is dedicated to the welfare of police personnel and their families. The Foundation is led by a serving Inspector General of Police and operates under the oversight of a Board of Directors, chaired by the Secretary of the Interior Division. The Cabinet Division, through Notification No. 4-11/2019-Min-I dated 23.12.2019, placed the National Police Foundation under the Interior Division's Autonomous Bodies list. Our mission is to ensure the safety, security, and well-being of both police personnel and the public through innovative welfare programs, housing schemes, and community services.
