No Permission Needed (NPN) is a print and online platform dedicated to celebrating the cultures, creativity, and experiences of Black and People of Colour (BPoC) outside of the dominant media/arts landscape.
NPN zine colates work from Scotland-based creatives. We believe it’s important to have space to express ourselves through art. Our zine’s (magazine’s) are little bundles of beauty, filled with artwork, articles and essays, poetry and photography.
NPN is about saying BPoC in Scotland exist, and we matter. It is about fostering a community that builds each other up, so we are stronger both as individuals and as a collective. In turn, we hope to advocate for and contribute to wider social change.
