The Neuropsychiatric Center „NPZ“ is one of the larger providers of outpatient medical and psychological care in Hamburg. In addition to physicians of neurosurgery, neurology, psychiatry and psychotherapy as well as psychological psychotherapists, who work in the outpatient and dayclinic care of patients, innovative projects in the field of telemedicine / eMental Health are developed and made available. Further, applied research is being conducted in order to be better able to understand the effects of therapy and the course of diseases and to evaluate new developments. Training and further education of physicians and psychotherapists takes place and there are cooperations with universities in Hamburg. Because of the development of psychological online support the NPZ is the winner of the „Telemedizinpreis 2017“.
