NQB AI

NQB is an artificial intelligence (AI) company based in Quebec City, whose mission is to accelerate the adoption of AI in the Canadian industry, by directly supporting its partners in their innovative projects and by developing proprietary intelligent industrial products. It was founded in 2021 by former students from Université Laval. NQB closely collaborates with Université Laval to ensure efficient technological transfers, allowing sufficiently mature AI technologies to be rapidly leveraged for commercial and industrial product development. The main field of expertise of NQB is machine learning, which is currently the foremost development paradigm for AI applications. The team is composed of experts with backgrounds in operational research, computer vision, robotics, signal processing, reinforcement learning and fundamental machine learning. Since its debut, NQB has collaborated with many high-profile clients such as Thales Canada, Eddify, Optel, Medicago and the National Optics Institute (INO).
