Traditionally, alternative provision is offered to students who face challenges in school, often behavioral, impacting both their own and others' academic progress. With performance measures like Progress 8 pressuring schools, some students may be educated off-site to not influence the school's performance scores, which also affects Ofsted ratings. A rising trend is parents seeking different education philosophies than traditional schools, leading to an increase in home education and flexi-schooling—a blend of part-time school and home education. However, flexi-schooling poses attendance challenges for schools, making it a less favored option by some headteachers. At NR Education, we're pioneering educational solutions across the spectrum: from addressing behavioral challenges, school refusals, alternative parental educational philosophies, to providing alternative and flexi-schooling options.
