Nepal Students' Association (NSA), established in 2006, stands as a vibrant and integral part of the Texas Tech University community in Lubbock, Texas. With a mission to unify the voices of Nepalese students on campus, NSA has grown into a well-established organization serving as a valuable resource for students seeking cultural exchange and community involvement.
NSA provides a dynamic platform for Nepalese students to connect with each other and the university, promoting a deeper understanding of Nepalese culture and heritage. As an organization committed to inclusivity, NSA extends its reach to all current Texas Tech students, faculty members, staff, and alumni, practicing non-discrimination in its membership and programming in accordance with university policies.
The organization actively engages in a variety of events, including student organization fairs, International cultural festivals, worldwide showcases, and spring festivals. NSA also hosts its own cultural programs, such as Dashain/tihar, welcome events, summer fiestas, and winter fiestas. Beyond cultural celebrations, NSA is dedicated to community service, fundraisers, and supporting newly arriving Nepalese students.
