National Society of Black Engineers - University of Ghana Chapter || NSBE - UG

Nsbe-UG is a chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers located in Ghana and overseen by NSBE-Ghana. It was established at the University of Ghana in 2018 and revived in 2022 after being dormant. Mission To increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community. Objectives NSBE-UG represents NSBE students and alumni at the University of Ghana. Thus, the objectives coincide with NSBE globally and are not limited to but include; 1. Providing exposure to students/members on the benefits of being members of NSBE such as scholarship, mentoring, and community outreach opportunities. 2. Including programs that serve to stimulate and develop student interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). 3. Striving to promote participation at all levels of responsibility in the field of STEM by the black communities. 4. Engaging in the advancement of black professional engineers within the individual engineering disciplines.
