NSPCWT - North Somerset Parent Carers Working Together

We are North Somerset Parent Carers Working Together (NSPCWT) the parent carer forum in North Somerset. We are a strong community who are here for one another and as parent carers ourselves, understand the challenges we face. We organise events - both big and small - that bring parents and carers together to learn skills to help us in everyday life. We have a fab Local Offer Event in September 2021 providing the chance to meet lots of professionals and charities, there to chat and discuss the available support. We organise free training opportunities in subjects relevant to you and your child/young person such as ADHD, Autism in Girls, PDA, Makaton and Behaviour Management Strategies. Together we nurture an environment of support, a space where you can feel safe asking or suggesting anything. We gather the collective voice from your experiences of services and provision - using your voice to shape our meetings with stakeholders - to effect positive change for our children and young people. Together we can influence decision-makers to create change where it’s needed in areas such as Education, Health and Social Care.
