The NSS is a government sponsored public service program conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India. Today NSS has grown into one of the prominent institutions in the world with more than 38 lakhs of dedicated volunteers all over the country.
NSS has been in operation in UPES since February 2018 with its two effervescent units. In the span of four years, we are successful in conducting several grandeur events like Blood Donation Camps, Swachata Pakhwada, a cleanliness drive extravaganza and many exhilarating Nukkad Natak. We also aimed towards assessing the socio-economic development in the Bhauwala Village.
We conduct a 7-day camp once a year where activities such as cleanliness drives, educational trips in the slums, and local deprived villages were organized.
