National STEAM Olympiad

Programs outside of school such as National STEAM Olympiad can help students to see that STEAM is more than just a by-the-book course. Having activities that have real-life implications of STEAM can pull together the ideas presented in school and help to show how they benefit our society and even our world as a whole. Children can see that what they are learning now is pertinent to their future and the future is the 4IR industry and “Smart Bangladesh”. Interest for a new skill often lacks when children see that the new skill is hardly useful in the real world, and this is where introduction to STEAM will help.
