NTC Industries Ltd., originally known as National Tobacco Company, was founded in September 1931 in Kolkata, West Bengal. They are one of India's oldest cigarette manufacturers, with a reputation for expertise in Class 'A' packed cigarettes containing blends that adhere to the highest quality standards and technical specifications. To achieve this, they have established a dedicated state of the art production line and an equally sophisticated setup for processing the finest blends of tobacco. NTC is one of the few companies in India having a license to manufacture cigarettes and all tobacco products. Their long-standing traditional approach has left an indelible stamp on the tobacco industry's history. NTC was the first to manufacture and introduce Filter cigarettes; Mentholated cigarettes - 'Cool'; Hinge-Lid packs; and 100mm cigarettes in India.
