The National Tribal Child Welfare Center for Innovation and Advancement serves as the Children’s Bureau’s primary vehicle for delivering effective, high-quality resources, training, and technical assistance aligned with traditional customs, values, and beliefs to Tribal child welfare programs.
The Center is a collaborative partnership across six organizations (University of Southern Maine, JBS International, Inc., National Native Children’s Trauma Center, Three Star Government Solutions, the Buder Center for American Indian Studies, and L&M Policy Research) with deep experience serving Tribal child welfare programs and a shared commitment to honoring Tribal sovereignty through decolonized service delivery approaches.
