On May 6, 2016, Shentel announced the completed transaction to acquire nTelos Wireless. nTelos customers were transitioned to Sprint, and stores re-branded from nTelos to Sprint. FRAWG Wireless customers were migrated over to Sprint's pre-paid brand, Boost Mobile.
Sprint, through Shentel, is now the new, trusted wireless provider for nTelos customers.
