Technological advancements have brought changes to the business model of the financial industry. FinTech (Financial Technology) aims to provide financial solutions through technology, enabling it to serve more people, increase efficiency, and reduce costs. On the other hand, RegTech (Regulation Technology) aims to improve the requirements of laws and regulatory compliance with technology in a more efficient way. NTU FinTech & RegTech Club will discuss the theory, application, and development of FinTech and RegTech on the principles of "technology integration" and "interdisciplinary integration." We will mainly discuss topics like robotic in finance, online insurance, open banking, platform economy, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, distributed ledger, and the Internet of things.
