Nu Cuoi Trai Tim has established since 2007 and has become a branch of Psychological and Educational Scientific Association of Ho Chi Minh City since 2013. Every non-profit organization has stories to tell. NCTT’s stories will not only engage, inform and delight the audience but also explain its mission to provide international-level and scientific psychotherapies to people who are in need. In the context of psychology being a developed profession in Vietnam, we aim to bring exemplary practice into the mental health service provision and educate the next generation of professionals in Vietnam. NCTT activities and services include training, researching and practicing in different aspects of psychology; conducting intern-training and supervising programs for undergraduate and graduate students in clinical psychology; providing psychotherapy and counselling services for English and Vietnamese-speaking clients living in Vietnam. We help clients find the goals that best fit their unique psychosocial situation and personal strength and then provide evidence-based interventions that help reach their objectives. We provide discounted or free high-quality service to abused children, students, clients with life-threatening conditions or experiencing financial challenges. With more than 13 years of experience, we are the first and the oldest organization in Vietnam that provides therapeutic support to patients with chronic diseases, terminal conditions and end-of-life care. We provide free of charge psychological care for cancer patients in Ho Chi Minh Cancer Hospital which is the biggest cancer center in Vietnam. We also provide home visits to cancer and chronic patients in Ho Chi Minh city. We have collaborated with leading organizations, such as Thuy’s Dream, Salt Cancer Initiatives, Palliative Care Faculty of HCMC Medicine and Pharmacy University, Tan Tao University school of Medicine, Can Tho Oncology Hospital, Oncology department of Vinmec Hospital and more.
